Chenelle McCaskill

PA-C

Chenelle McCaskill, PA-C, MS is a board -certified physician assistant in urgent care medicine since 2007. She is a seasoned practitioner whom enjoys serving the healthcare needs of pediatric to elderly patients in the urgent care setting with kindness, compassion and timeliness.


Additionally, Chenelle has 4 years of specialized experience in Orthopedic Spine and Neurosurgery. She is a certified medical examiner for DOT physicals, a preceptor for physician assistant students, and serves as an interviewer for prospective students applying to Pacific University's Physician Assistant Program.


Chenelle earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2004 from Pacific University, cum laude. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Movement Physiology at the University of Oregon in 2002.


Chenelle began her journey in the medical profession in 1995 when she enlisted in the U.S. Army Medical Specialist Corp as a Combat Medic. She was deployed to Bosnia during Operation Joint Endeavor where she met her husband Chris. The couple returned to Douglas County to raise their only child Haley in 1999.


She and her husband Chris, also a veteran, and currently pursuing a degree in health care, are both dedicated health and fitness enthusiasts committed to medical service. Their daughter, Haley, now 18 is also pursuing the medical profession. The family loves to spend time hiking, snorkeling, walking on the beach and traveling to their favorite vacation location, Kaanapali Beach in Maui, Hawaii.
