Kimberlly "Kim" Stevens, FNP graduated in 2016 with honors from Simmons University with her Master's of Science in Nursing. Kim has worked in Roseburg and surrounding area since graduating with her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to this, she practiced as a RN for 10 years and worked in the health care field since 2002. She earned her Bachalors degree from Duquesne University in 2006 and worked as a Certified Medical Assistant while attending her undergraduate studies. As a Registered Nurse, she gained knowledge and experience from all over the United states, working in major medical institutes as a traveling nurse.
Kim's future plans are to continue on with her education to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her goal is to help better serve the community in a field she is passionate about and needed locally. She has received several Certifications in order to better serve the community, with a goal for integrated healthcare. These include Data 2000 waiver through SAMHSA, implantable birth control, and FMCSA certified examiner.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, wood working, metal art, constantly renovating my home, and being active outside in general.
