David Patterson
MD
Dr. David Patterson was born in Busan, South Korea and was adopted by a wonderful family as an infant. He was raised primarily in the Kentucky bluegrass region with strong ties to southern California. Most of his childhood was spent outdoors fishing and hiking as well as earning spending money for weekend movies by mucking horse stalls on his uncle's farm.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Morehead State University in 2012. He attended the University of Louisville where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in 2018 and also completed his Family Medicine residency in 2021.
He then moved his wife, two boys, three dogs, five cats, two lizards, three ferrets, one rabbit, and two chickens across the country in an RV to start their new family adventure here in southwest Oregon. He is now the proud owner of two alpacas.
Entering Family Medicine has been one of the best decisions of his life. He has answered a calling to serve his community and patients of all ages while developing lasting relationships. He endeavors to listen to and understand his patients.
Small town living has always felt most comfortable to him and he enjoys everything Roseburg has to offer. He enjoys spending time with his family and going on day trips to either the coast or to the forest.
He is excited to call Roseburg home and is proud to be a member of Evergreen Family Medicine!
