Tim Powell

Dr. Timothy Powell graduated from the Oregon State University School of Pharmacy in 1973. He attended Oregon Health Sciences University earning his Doctor of Medicine in 1977. He completed his Family Medicine residency in 1980 at San Bernardino California, a program affiliated with the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Powell has been American Academy of Family Practice board certified since 1980. He has been in private practice in Roseburg, Oregon since that time.

Dr. Powell and his wife Kathy raised their three children in Roseburg. Their son, Matthew is now married and practicing Law and his wife, Mary is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist. Their daughter Angela is a Family Physician in San Jose and has given them their first grandson. She and her husband also have 3 teenagers from Sudan. Their other daughter, Esther lives with her husband Jared in Lake Oswego, where they have 2 daughters and 1 son from the Congo.

Kathy Powell obtained her registered nursing degree and was Dr. Powell's office nurse for quite a few years. Together they have been active in church and community support activities. Dr. Powell has served as Chief of Staff at Mercy Medical Center and at Douglas Community Hospital. He is the CEO and Medical Director of Evergreen Family Medicine.
