Alyssa Emo

Dr. Emo was born and raised in a suburb of Minneapolis, MN. She attended Gustavus Adolphus College for her Bachelors, where she played rugby, met her now husband, and decided that she wanted a career that included supporting and advocating for women. She came out to Oregon to attend Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific-Northwest for medical school and completed her residency at Jefferson Health/Rowan School of Medicine in Sewell, NJ.

Her time in residency has made her particularly passionate about high-risk pregnancies, minimally invasive robotic surgery, and breastfeeding advocacy and education. She is excited to bring her training and experience back to the Pacific Northwest. What she loves best about being an OB/GYN physician is being able to build strong relationships with her patients and being present for their most precious experiences.

Dr. Emo is a fan of fantasy and mystery novels, scenic hikes, baking cookies, travelling, and spending time with her husband, son, and two corgis. Her family is excited to begin putting down roots in the community and exploring all the hiking Douglas County has to offer.
