Elizabeth Boggio
MD
I was initially drawn to medicine because I am naturally curious about the biological world and enjoyed learning. I fell increasingly in love with the profession as I connected with my patients through my clinical years. I discovered my instinctive talent for comforting patients and explaining complex medical issues simply. It is my most sincere desire to practice medicine that is patient-centered and at Evergreen I can do this.
I studied Medicine at Chicago Medical School. I completed an internship in Internal Medicine in El Paso, Texas & Family Medicine Residency in Yakima, Washington. This allowed me to see a broad spectrum of pathology, clinical scenarios and the opportunity to work with varying demographics.
Medical training with such a wide-ranging scope gives me the ability to tailor my practice to my interests and the needs of my patients. I enjoy women’s health, getting to know my geriatric patients and I delight in caring for pediatric patients. The highlight of my job is watching patients get better. I have the benefit of practicing preventive outpatient care and fostering longer-term patient relationships.
