Matt Stark

Matt Stark, clinician, partner and huge Star Wars fan.


Matt grew up in McMinnville, Oregon earning his Eagle Scout at age 17 and then enlisting in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biology and minoring in chemistry from Oregon State University. GO BEAVS! Matt attended Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon for his Physician Assistant education and then he commissioned in the United States Navy. LTJG Stark reported to Naval Hospital Guam in 2009 to work in the Emergency Department, he also spent one tour with 1st Marine Expeditionary Force in Helmond Province, Afghanistan. He is currently the Senior Physician Assistant with the 2-162 Infantry Battalion Oregon Army National Guard.


When not working Matt and his wife, Brooke, enjoy riding their horses, hiking and fishing. They have one son, two dogs, two horses and love Music on the Half Shell. His favorite thing to cook is smoked brisket, followed in close second place with cedar plank salmon. He is active in the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants, National Mounted Police Service, and the National Eagle Scout Association.
